    Takiri Folclor Latino’s mission is to show and share Latin American culture through dance.

    ABC11 Family Stage

    The Glass Harp by Brien Engel (11AM - 5PM)

    Brien is part of an exciting new community helping to revive and promote the enchanting art of glass music. His glass harp is comprised of goblets and snifters of various sizes, which he plays by carefully rubbing their rims with moistened fingers. His current instrument features 50 glasses, and is one of the largest in the world. Brien will be performing and demonstrating 11am-5pm Saturday at the Childrens Stage, and 11am-5pm Sunday in the Main St. Area by Dolly’s Vintage.

    Eryn Jones Fuson has acquired her own style and preference when it comes to her repertoire. Notwithstanding the value of the harp’s traditionally classic tendencies, Eryn loves writing, discover, and playing contemporary songs that one wouldn’t expect to hear on an instrument normally reserved for classical or Celtic genres.

    The Durham Street Piano Player brings the piano out of the parlor and onto the streets with a fully upright piano painted by local artist Jamie Wolcott and mounted on wheels for mobile street busking.

    The Silver Drummer Girl is a fantastical statue that comes to life to play robotic snare rolls and drum beats.

The program is a culturally diverse, value-priced taekwondo school that serves its customers in the NC community by providing several programs for purpose that range from basic-advance taekwondo, self defense, self esteem, life skills building, and more.

    The NC Jazz Ensemble has performed concerts and educational programs in many parts of North Carolina for schools, parks, festivals, and more. NCJE contributes work and performances for the North Carolina Arts Council as well as many private groups and organizations.

    The DAC Summer Dance Camp included creative movement, improvisational exercises, intro to ballet, jazz, contemporary, choreography, and dance history. Each week ended with a fully costumed performance of Cirque de Dance.
