City of Durham Department of Water Management

Water Management promotes smart and efficient water use. We will offer valuable water conserving tips and free items to help conserve this precious resource. City residents can exchange their old water wasting showerheads for new, water-efficient models for free.

City of Durham Stormwater Services

Visit Durham Stormwater Services for an engaging activity on local water quality. Giveaways available to promote water pollution hotline: 560-SWIM

Durham County Cooperative Extension

Cooperative Extension services include gardening, nutrition, youth, early childhood, public schools, parenting, and more.

Durham Parks & Recreation

Durham Parks and Recreation provides opportunities for our community to Play More! We strive to help citizens discover, explore, and enjoy life through creative and challenging recreational choices that contribute to their physical, emotional, and social health.

Triangle Transit

Triangle Transit operates regional bus and shuttle service, paratransit services, ridematching, vanpools, provides commuter resources, and an emergency ride home program for the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area including Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Garner, Hillsborough, Knightdale, RDU International Airport, Raleigh, The Research Triangle Park, Wendell, Wake Forest and Zebulon.

Carolina Performing Arts

Carolina Performing Arts is presented by the Office of the Executive Director for the Arts at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Office of the Executive Director for the Arts (EDA) is responsible for planning and articulating a comprehensive performing arts program and serves as an advocate for the performing arts both within and outside the University.

Cresset Christian Academy

We strive to equip students to be a light for Jesus by fostering their spiritual gifts and talents, developing academic skills for college preparation, and encouraging social and personal growth.

Durham Affordable Housing Coalition / Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness

DAHC & the TYP directs, guides and coordinates Durham’s response to homelessness.

Durham Companions, Inc.

Durham Companions is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide consistent and positive role models to young people ages 6-17.

Durham People's Alliance

The People’s Alliance is a multi-issue, local progressive organization. We will provide information about ways to become involved in Durham, information about the election, and will register people to vote.

Durham Symphony, Inc.

The DSO’s mission is to provide affordable symphonic music to Durham and the surrounding communities. No booth activities.

Durham's Partnership for Children

Durham’s Partnership for Children works to ensure children enter school healthy and ready to learn and funds 22 programs for children birth to age 5 and their families. We will provide free art project for children 3 years and older and free bilingual Durham resource guide for families with young children.

Durham-Orange County Quilters Guild

We are an organization of quilters for improvement of skills, education of community, development of the art of quilting.

Emerson Waldorf School

We provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum for Pre-K through Grade 12, fostering practical, artistic and academic skills, enthusiasm for learning, healthy self-awareness, and respect for other human beings and the world. Serving Chapel Hill, Durham and surrounding areas.

Nasher Museum of Art at Duke

The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University fosters the understanding and appreciation of the visual arts by providing direct experiences with original works of art supported by a range of exhibitions, programs and publications for the university and the broader community.

NAMI supports, educates, and advocates for people with mental illness.

Orange County Artists Guild

The Orange County Artists Guild is a non-profit organization seeking to increase the visability and recognition of artists/crafts people.

SAFE Haven for Cats

We are a no-kill animal shelter and feline spay/neuter clinic. We provide adoption services for cats.

The Durham Chorale

To preserve the choral music tradition by offering a wide variety of choral music through public performances.
